Mama Africa
Perinatal care

One of the UN milestones is the improvement of pregnant women’s health care, by reducing maternal mortality rate, which in Kenya is high as 510 for 100 000 people, with the most common cause of death being postpartum bleeding. Our aim is to improve labour wards work with a series of trainings, and to teach CTG interpretation, which is a basic tool in monitoring fetus health state in developed countries, but not in Kenya.
